Environmental AssuranceMeeting StandardsMicro
Control Company adheres rigorously to OSHA and EPA requirements.
Applicable Military Standards and Specifications for quality, design,
reliability, and safety, are fully integrated into our operations.
All customer projects meet IPC-A-610 Class 2 industrial standards.
Class 3 medical standards can also be implemented if required. Additionally,
we carefully monitor the specific gravity of wave solder flux as
well as the temperature and flow of wave and reflow solder.
Lead-Free Expertise Micro Control Company has
developed expertise in the use of lead
free solder (tin/silver; 96.5/3.5). The use of lead-free solder
has been adopted by many of our customers. Beginning in 1994, in
response to growing global concerns over the use of lead-free materials,
we began using lead-free solder in the assembly of printed circuit
boards used in our Automatic Test Equipment product line. Under normal
operating conditions, these boards may be subjected to temperatures
reaching 150° C. With a melting temperature exceeding 220° C,
lead-free solder provides excellent reliability for printed circuit
boards exposed to high temperatures for extended periods.
Materials & ProcessesMicro
Control's commitment to managing the environmental effects of our
manufacturing processes extends to the use of environmentally safe,
water-soluble organic fluxes and biodegradable cleaning solvents. |
