Product Notification: End of Life Announcement Windows 7 and Python 2.7/3.7

Release Date: December 18, 2023

Micro Control Company will no longer be supporting Windows 7 Operating Systems or Python 2.7/3.7, and in addition, Micro Control’s C-Breez software running on those versions is no longer supported.
It is recommended by Micro Control Company’s Software Engineering team that users update to Python 3.11 and Windows 10 or 11 Operating Systems. Purchase of a new PC and PCIe bus controller may be required to update systems in the field.
The HPB-5A and HPB-5B hardware is no longer supported by Micro Control Company.

• Python 2.7/3.7

Guidelines:

• Micro Control Company’s Software Engineering and Field Service teams will support updates to hardware that has not reached End of Life status.

End-of-life milestones and commitments:

• Initial End of Life notice: December 18, 2023
• End of Life Effective Date: March 1, 2024
