Burn-In Boards (BIBs)
Micro Control burn-in boards (BIBs) are designed by engineers and printed circuit board (PCB) designers experienced in multi-layer board layouts. CAD-based software is used to generate the artwork for use by PCB manufacturers to make the PCB. The prototype assembly of each BIB is completed by Micro Control’s in-house manufacturing, where it is built according to IPC-A-610 standards.
Each burn-in board is designed for the device under test and according to the customer’s specific application requirements and specifications. The device size and complexity will determine the number of devices that will fit on each burn-in board, no matter which system type the burn-in board is designed for use.
To get started on a new BIB design, the customer needs to provide us with a pin list and the power supply configuration.
