Burn-In Boards

Burn-in boards are custom-designed and built for signal integrity, thermal stability, and repeatable results across each system. Each board is engineered around your device and application by Micro Control’s experienced PCB design team.

Burn-In Boards (BIBs)

Micro Control burn-in boards (BIBs) are designed by engineers and printed circuit board (PCB) designers experienced in multi-layer board layouts. CAD-based software is used to generate the artwork for use by PCB manufacturers to make the PCB. The prototype assembly of each BIB is completed by Micro Control’s in-house manufacturing, where it is built according to IPC-A-610 standards.

Each burn-in board is designed for the device under test and according to the customer’s specific application requirements and specifications. The device size and complexity will determine the number of devices that will fit on each burn-in board, no matter which system type the burn-in board is designed for use.

To get started on a new BIB design, the customer needs to provide us with a pin list and the power supply configuration.

Turnkey Solutions

Burn-in boards designed by Micro Control are available as part of a complete turnkey solution. A Key Account Manager will help you determine the right options for your test floor requirements.

Burn-In Board (BIB) Designers

Each burn-in board is designed by engineers specializing in burn-in board design. PCB designers experienced in multi-layer board layouts use CAD-based software to generate the PCB artwork. Final artwork is fabricated by outside PCB manufacturers and assembled according to the IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies workmanship standard.
