Micro Control Company Breaks Ground on New Headquarters in Arden Hills

(Minneapolis, MN) – Micro Control Company announces the construction of its new corporate headquarters in the Rice Creek Commons development in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
The new 157,000-square-foot headquarters, which is nearly 50 percent larger than Micro Control Company’s current facility, will provide the capacity and resources needed to fuel our next era of growth as the global leader in high-power burn-in and test systems. With the expanded space, Micro Control Company will be able to increase manufacturing capabilities, advance innovation through expanded research and development space, and offer a modern workplace designed to inspire innovation and collaboration.
Ryan Companies has been chosen as the design-build partner for the project. Sustainability is at the forefront of design for the new facility, which will feature geothermal energy, a solar-ready roof, electric vehicle charging stations, and other advanced clean-energy technologies. These forward-looking design elements underscore Micro Control Company’s commitment to efficiency, environmental responsibility, and meeting the future challenges of the semiconductor industry.
Construction officially broke ground in April 2025, with completion targeted for May 31, 2026. Once finished, the Arden Hills headquarters will mark an exciting new chapter in Micro Control Company’s history, strengthening the company’s ability to serve customers worldwide while continuing to invest in its Minnesota roots.
